Allah Bux Muhammad Umar Soomro (1900- d. May 14, 1943), was a zamindar, government contractor, Indian independence activist and politician from the province of Sindh in British India. He is considered to be amongst the best premiers of the province. He was referred to as Shaheed or "martyr". Allah Bux Soomro was born in 1900 in Shikarpur in the Bombay Presidency in an affluent family. He founded the Sind Ittehad Party and served as the Chief Minister of Sindh from March 23, 1938 to April 18, 1940 and March 7, 1941 to October 14, 1942. He was assassinated, allegedly by Muslim extremists, in 1943. His son Rahim Bux Soomro was also a politician in pre-partition India and later, Pakistan. His nephew, Elahi Bux Soomro was the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan and is a Veteran Politician
Allah Bux Soomro was a Gandhian and patronized khadi. He was also noted for his simplicity.

NUSRAT BHUTTO

Nusrat Bhutto, March 23, 1929 – October 23, 2011, was an Iranian-Pakistani who was the wife of the 9th, Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, serving as the First Lady of Pakistan during his premiership from 1971 until 1977.

Maharaja Bhupinder Singh, 12 October 1891, 23 March 1938, was the ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Patiala from 1900 to 1938.

Soundram Ramachandran  (1905 – 1984) She was born on 1905 into an affluent family of Madurai. Her father was in transport business. Her mother actively participated in the constructive work initiated by Mahatma Gandhi.  Dr. Soundram was the founder of the Gandhigram Trust. She was simple and selfless and dedicated her life for the poor and needy. She considered that her mission in life was to serve women and children of the rural areas in the fields of health, education, welfare and building up self-confidence.

Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay  (April 3rd, 1903 – October 29th, 1988) was an Indian social reforms, freedom fighter, and most remembered for her contribution to Indian independence movement, for being the driving force behind the renaissance of Indian handicrafts, hand looms, and theater in post-Independence India, and for up-liftment of the sociology-economic standard of Indian women by pioneering the co-operative movement in India.
